Bank Holiday Fun: Rooftop Film Club

This Bank Holiday experience something quirky and different to your usual beers in the park. Head down to Queen Of Hoxton and settle yourself down on to their rooftop to watch a classic or cult film, brought to you by Rooftop Film Club. Not your average cinema atmosphere, the open roof will keep your beers chilled and the urban ernvironment will allow you to gaze out in to the distance if the movie starts to bore you. Don't expect to sit on drenched hard seating, comfy chairs and wireless headphones are provided to watch the film on a large screen with the stars above your head.

MP BURNNNNNZ

As much politics remains to be a contentious subject, with MP's idelogies being tossed back and forth like a massive game of Chinese ping pong, you've got to give it to them when it comes to da 'diss.' I really appreciate the petulant insults politicians have been giving each other over the years. Below are some of the greatest examples...

1) Tory MP Simon Burns (left) on John Bercow (right):

''STUPID SANCTIMONIOUS DWARF.''

2) David Cameron on UKIP:

''FRUITCAKES, LOONIES AND CLOSET RACISTS MOSTLY.''

3) Winston Churchill (left) on Clement Attlee (right)

'' SHEEP IN SHEEPS CLOTHING.''

4) Vince Cable on Gordon Brown:

"THE HOUSE HAS NOTICED THE PRIME MINISTER'S REMARKABLE TRANSFORMATION IN THE LAST FEW WEEKS FROM STALIN TO MR BEAN.''

5) Barrack Obama on Donald Trump.

''HE CAN FINALLY GET BACK TO FOCUSING ON THE ISSUES THAT MATTER LIKE 'DID WE FAKE THE MOON LANDING? 'WHAT REALLY HAPPENED IN ROSWELL?' AND WHERE ARE BIGGIE AND TUPAC.''

6) Denis Healey on Geoffrey Howe (my favourite out of the lot).

''LIKE BEING SAVAGED BY A DEAD SHEEP.'' Are you sure your referring to his policies Denis?

GIRL POWER

What can I say about Katy B, well firstly she looks like a bad b*tch in our black sleevless LDN vest

Additionally she has just unveiled the release of her new single: 'What love is made of,' debuting it rather unfortunately on annie macs show; (please ANYONE but mac, i'd rather pull out my left tonsil than listen to her unwitty radio repartees).

In March Katy B told Billboard that her second album was 95% complete, noting that she had:

''basically got some great tracks and (she) think(s) (she'll) just keep writing until the end. A lot of stuff is getting mixed and mastered at the moment, so you just never know when you can just write something special at the last minute."

Well we can't wait for the release of her next album, this girl be FIERCE. We wish her the best for 2013.

-

Speaking of fierce women, they seem to be dominating the music scene at the moment these girls are hotties. We wanna welcome them with open arms to my house for a red stripe and a smoke. I mean, just LOOK at their  lovely little faces.

These lovely gyaldem were signed to Warner in August 2011 and they released their first promotional single, "Betty Woz Gone", in October 2011. It was announced on 5 December that Stooshe had been nominated for the BBC's sound of 2012 poll. Their official debut single, 'Love me' feat. Travie McCoy saw the group attain chart success, with the single peaking at number five on the UK singles chart.

Obviously they've been wearing our stuff too, which is another reason to add to the many reasons why we love them so. Check out cutie Courtney in our Polka sweater

(available at Topshop)

The group are set to release their debut studio album, London With The Lights On, on 27 May 2013 and we can't WAIT!

GIRL POWER!
